Whew - what a title.
i have a client who wants to license an online playable game (most likely a flash game I'm guessing) which is a fast download. Pretty simple game. But they want to replace the main characters with their characters. So the game should be already set up and we (ideally) swap out the art with their characters.
Does anyone here have any links they could help me with to start my rather time sensitive search?
Thank you.

Re: looking for character replaceable licensable games

A good place to start is www.flashkit.com. Click on "movies"
There is a lot of free source code there as well as a lot of crap. Searching is crude and there are tons of ads, but it is still a place I hit first when I am looking for code for a flash projects.
Also I discoverd this little gem as well. (The puke edition is new to me)
www.flasharcade.com/action-g...game.html
It is a well written character based game and you can learn a lot about gamde developement by downloading the source code.
Good Luck
